EnXylaScope reaches its half-way with exciting outcomes | EnXylaScope turns two years old. The project has delivered exceptional results with significant immediate or potential impact. The results of the first review by the European Commission highlight this according to the deliverables and reports presented. The project has sufficiently progressed and presents significant results that will have a high impact potential moving into the next reporting period. The ground work already performed is very promising for achieving the expected impact and outcomes in a holistic manner over the next reporting periods. |

MetGen has started the production optimization towards scale-up work of EnXylaScope enzymes | MetGen is excited to announce that it has started the optimization of fermentation conditions to advance the production of targeted EnXylaScope enzymes to pilot scale utilizing the ENZINE® technology platform. The best conditions will be scaled-up for all the four targeted enzymes using pilot fermenter. The scale up work will be used to validate the transferability of lab results to the commercial scale. |   | |

Xylan – the key to a sustainable future of consumer products and improved gut health | Research within the field of nutrition and gut health has shown a substantial number of connections between the food we consume, the composition of microbes residing in our gut and our overall health and wellbeing. With that in mind we seek to develop new nutritional strategies to ensure a healthy gut for both humans and livestock. We believe that the key to a sustainable future and improved gut health is to be found within the third most abundant biopolymer on earth: Xylan. |   | |

|   | Approaching the amazing future of EnXylaScope | EnXylaScope has delivered outstanding results within the first two years of the project running with significant immediate or potential impact. Groundbreaking work has been performed and the results obtained facilitate achieving the expected impact and outcomes in a holistic manner over the next reporting periods. From now on, the activities will be focused on the best performing enzymes discovered during the project that will be produced at higher scale in the optimized production systems to… Author: Carolina Peñalva - ATIIP |
